Laboratory has two unique experimental devices. The first one is a nuclear adiabatic demagnetization refrigerator, which is capable to cool the condensed matter samples down to submilikelvin
temperature range, while the lowest temperature achieved was about 50 microK. The second experimental equipment is a Triton 200 cryogen-free dilution refrigerator made by Oxford Instruments.
This refrigerator can work at temperatures down to 7 mK and at magnetic field up to 8 Tesla.
Laboratory possesses a variety of experimental techniques and methods: continuous and pulse NMR technique up to frequency of 1MHz, measurements of electrical conductivity, magnetic
susceptibility, measurements of various types of mechanical resonators.
